Renovation of a water / sewer project in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to replace failing Household Sewage Treatment Systems (HSTS) and to install new sanitary sewer connections using funds granted to the Medina County Commissioners through the Ohio Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) Program. In total, seven (7) new HSTSs and one (1) new sanitary sewer connection are to be installed under permit from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) through the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program. $150,000.00 has been awarded for this program year (2023). The estimated construction cost for this project is: $151,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, payable to the Medina County Health Department in an approved form. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Medina County Health Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, decrease or omit any item or items and/or to award to the lowest and best bidder.
