Bid for emergency generator scheduled preventive maintenance and repair services for SHA facilities located in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. For routine preventative maintenance, there is a flat price. For maintenance calls, there's an hourly rate. Material markup maximum is 10%. Contract duration is up to 3-years, estimated from August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2027 or until the blanket purchase order is depleted. Contracting company shall have five or more years of technical experience required in providing maintenance service to emergency generators and automatic transfer switches. The engine mechanic working on the generator shall have three or more years of experience with generators. Mechanic shall have certification from a recognized engineering/mechanical training school (e.g. Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Onan, Generac, Kohler). One helper can be pre-approved to assist on a case-by-case basis. This Contract describes the minimum requirements for providing comprehensive and reliable preventative maintenance service, load bank testing, normal repair and emergency repair service for the standby generators and associated equipment at the specified locations. This Contract will establish bid prices for labor, materials, scheduled service visits, and load bank testing, as detailed in the Schedule of Prices. Quantities listed are estimated and are only given for the purpose of bid evaluation. They do not indicate the actual amount which will be spent, since such expenditures will depend upon requirements which develop during the contract period. Small business reserve procurement. The duration / term of the contract is 36 months or total payments of $50,000, whichever comes first. There is no Pre- Bid Conference scheduled for this solicitation. Prices submitted in response to this solicitation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date.
