The City of Rio Rancho is soliciting formal bids for the Construction Base Bid to remove existing ADA deficient curb ramps, and construct parallel directional curb ramps, and diagonal parallel curb ramps throughout Chianti Rd from Montiano Loop to Nicklaus Dr. Additive Alternate to remove existing ADA deficient curb ramps and construct parallel directional curb ramps and diagonal parallel curb ramps throughout Golf Course Rd from Chianti Rd to Abeto Ln. Construction includes the replacement of the curb ramps and portions of the valley gutter as required and ramp reconstruction to meet current ADA requirements as shown on the plans, and within the NMDOT ADA Pedestrian Access Standard Details. Question Deadline 07/03/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to OWNER in writing. Public Coordination Letters will be delivered to any business before any work at their access entrance following the Public Notice and Communication Requirements, Classification "B." The Vendor shall submit working red line drawings/As-Builts, following the format and method stated in the Development Process Manual (DPM) Chapter II.7 Revised for Public Works (Attached), to the Project Manager or Project Inspector on a monthly basis in order to obtain payment. In addition, as part of the Final Record Drawings, a permanent erosion/sediment control plan must be submitted to the Development Services Department (DSD) Engineering Division. The permanent erosion/sediment control plan must include grading and drainage information.
