The Work consists of constructing the Advanced Secure Communications Building (ASC) on the North Side of Pacific Northwest National Laboratories North Richland Campus a location operated by Battelle for the Department of Energy, (DOE). ASC will be a single-story structure of an approximately 14,200 square feet with accommodation for future expansion. It will include administrative offices and various support spaces. It will have an independent building entry, and dedicated service yard. ASC utilities will be served by North Campus infrastructure utilities and a new modular Central Utility Plant (CUP) beyond the secure perimeter site fence located to the west of the site. Users will arrive at the ASC using pedestrian paths, bicycle lanes, and personal motor vehicles. Interior spaces are planned for efficiency, function, and programmatic adjacencies to support technical, security and clearance protocols. The work includes providing management, supervision, administration, labor, procurement, materials, equipment, construction, and subcontracts necessary to construct and support commissioning of the ASC Building. The ASC shall be constructed in accordance with the Battelle approved drawings and specifications. Contractors and contractor sub tier contractors shall support & assist the Battelle provided Commissioning Agent and completion of the Commissioning Process for the ASC Building. Prime Contractor shall be pre-qualified in order to propose on this effort; likewise, Subcontractors to a Prime Contractor performing work shall be prequalified prior to issuance of the NTP Duration / Completion: Completion no later than October 31, 2025.
