The Proposal Form shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the bid. Check or Surety Company Bid Bond shall be made payable to the City of East Orange, NJ. Bids will be accepted by mail or may be delivered and presented at the date and time set at the place herein listed above. Bids sent by mail or hand-delivered must be received prior to the time set for receiving bids and should be brought to the Division of Procurement, First Floor, City Hall or mailed to: City of East Orange DIVISION OF PROCUREMENT 44 City Hall Plaza East Orange, New Jersey 07018 Racquel C. Ferguson, QPA Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 34-11- 56.25 regulating wages on Public Works, with the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Affirmative Action and with the requirements of P.L. 1977 C33 regarding the submission of a list of all Stockholders or Partners owning more than 10% stock or interest in their Corporation or Partnership. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to any defects or for not adhering to the Specifications or for any reason or to waive informalities and accept any bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the City of East Orange. The City Council reserves the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bids to one or more bidders.
