Questions received less than 7 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Major components of the Work include: 1. Remove pumping equipment, rehabilitate well, and repair/replace equipment: a. Well 8-1: 665 feet deep, pump setting 250 feet below grade. b. Well 8-2: 662 feet deep, pump setting 293 feet below grade. 2. Installation of pressure transducer and stilling tube to both wells. a. Pressure Transducer to be supplied by Owner. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Red Wing reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City of Red Wing.
