Site work for a road / highway in Ozark, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Ozark, Missouri is requesting proposals to install anti-graffiti coatings to the exposed concrete surfaces ofthree pedestrian underpasses with an additional alternate package, which will include the coating of a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining wall located near the crossing at 3rd Street The City of Ozark is in the process of expanding its pedestrian transportation network. With the expansion ofthis network an additional three pedestrian underpasses have recently been constructed to facilitate safer movement across vehicular roadways for pedestrians and bicyclists. Due to the secluded nature ofthese underpasses, they are often the target of graffiti and other acts ofvandalism. In the event that vandalism prevention methods fail, the City of Ozark would like to install anti-graffiti coatings to these secluded locations to facilitate cleanup and maintenance ofthese underpasses. LOCATIONS AND QUANTITIES : The following locations will be included in the proposals. Included is the estimated area of exposed concrete to be coated. 1. Chadwick Flyer Jackson Street Underpass (Near the Ozark Community Center) - 2,865 ft2 of coating. 2. Finley River Park Connector Trail McCracken Road Underpass (Finley River Park) - 1,610 ft2 of coating. 3. Garrison Branch Trail 3rd Street Underpass (Near Finley Farms) - 1,550 ft2 of coating. 4. Alternate A - MSE Retaining Wall at 3rd Street - Approximately 1,125 ft2 of coating. MATERIALS: The City ofOzark will require that PPG PSX(R) 700 or an approved equal be used for coating the underpasses. The City is in possession of enough ofthe PPG PSX(R) 700 to coat the Chadwick Flyer Jackson Street Underpass. Additional material required for the remaining underpasses will need to be obtained by the contractor All questions regarding this RFP shall be directed via email to jparsons@ozarkmissouri.org or by phone to Jeremy Parsons at 417-581-2407. Inquiries will be accepted until 6th ofAugust 2024 at 12:00 pm The City expects the firm to perform due diligence in the performance of its services and to carry out its responsibilities in accordance with customarily accepted good professional practices. The respondent shall comply with the documentation required in this Request for Proposal. Failure to comply with the requirements may result in disqualification ofthe respondent's submittal. The evaluation ofthe proposal will be in accordance with the methodology outlined herein. The company selected will be required to sign a one year agreement for professional services. The City reserves the right to: o reject any and all submittals, o amend or cancel the RFP at any time, o waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the submittals, o revise the schedule as the City sees fit, and o Enter into any agreement deemed by the City to be in its best interest. The City reserves the right to interview any of the respondents or to request additional information or clarifications from any or all respondents to the RFP The cost of preparing and submitting the proposal is entirely the responsibility of the Contractor. The information contained in the proposal will become the property ofthe City
