Youth Custody Interim Holding Unit in Prince George. The scope of work includes an assessment of two scenarios: Scenario #1 New construction of a mobile modular or permanent structure located at Prince George Regional Correctional Centre (PGRCC). Scenario #2 Tenant improvements security enhancements to the Bowron House located adjacent to Prince George Youth Custody Centre. (PGYCC). The intent of assessing these two scenarios is to identify the optimal option for the construction of a Youth Custody Holding Unit (2,500 to 3,000 sq.ft) in Prince George. TIMELINE: Project is pending funding. Feasibility study is completed by the consultant. Construction timelines are undetermined. Further update in late fall 2026, upon approvals.
