Reference Number 0000272636 Question Acceptance Deadline 04-Jul-2024 03:00:00 PM EDT Bid Intent Deadline 18-Jul-2024 12:00:00 AM EDT The Willowbrook Rail Maintenance Facility (WRMF) encompasses various municipal addresses including: 125 Judson Street, 123 Judson Street, 91 Judson Street, and 335 Judson Street in Etobicoke. This facility is one of two primary maintenance facilities for GO Transit's rail fleet. The centrally located Service and Maintenance Building is the largest building within the Willowbrook Rail Maintenance Facility covering approximately 18,000 m2 (193,750 ft2). It consists of several sub-buildings with specific maintenance or support and administrative functions: Diesel Shops: for maintenance/repair of diesel locomotives PM (Progressive Maintenance) Bays: for scheduled progressive maintenance of rolling stock. Wheel Bay: for maintenance and replacement of wheel, and carriage assemblies Coach Shop: for repair/maintenance of coach (passenger-rail) cars Pedestrian Bridge: for access to WMF from main parking lot through security checkpoint. Central Administration & Support Services: for administration, support services, stores, and staff amenities. The original building was constructed in 1980 when the site was acquired from CN. In 1995, expansions included a new PM Bay and Wheel Bay. Upgrades to the offices and pedestrian bridge were also implemented. Many of the other major building and equipment systems are original and require increasing levels of corrective maintenance when components fail or malfunction. Below is an aerial view of the Willowbrook Yard and the location of the Rail Maintenance Facility. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
