Hoffman Construction Company, Construction Manager/General Contractor ("CM/GC") for WASHINGTON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE ("Project") being performed for Washington County, Oregon, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon ("Owner") requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package #1 - All Work. This bid package includes the following: Bid Item #1 - Concrete, Bid Item #2 - Steel & Misc. Metals, Bid Item #3 - Roofing, Bid Item #4 - Acoustical Ceilings and Bid Item #5 Electrical. Owner and Contractor are committed to promoting and stimulating the growth of disadvantaged business enterprises, minority business enterprises, women business enterprises, veteran business enterprises and emerging small business (D/M/W/VBE/ESB) firms, as well as businesses located within Washington County, and maximizing opportunities for these firms to participate in the work of this project. Subcontractor shall endeavor to utilize such firms through sub-tier contracting and/or material purchases and shall provide documentation of their good faith efforts and achievements. Summary Project Description: Complete replacement of all critical mechanical systems including, but not limited to, rooftop air handling units, terminal units, CUP (central utility plant), boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, etc. The roofing system will be demolished & replaced with a new TPO roofing system. A new, roof mounted hydronic pipe racking system will be installed during this project to enhance the pipe routing from interior to exterior access & maintenance. A new visitor corridor lighting and ACT ceiling will be incorporated after demo of spine pipework. Replacement Fire Alarm devices in all POD units and replacement of the FA front-end controller will be included in this project. Contract Terms: Cost plus a fee, with a guaranteed maximum price (GMP).
