The Port of Seattle invites the submittal of Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms, or teams of firms, interested. in providing Design Build services for the Maritime Industrial Center Electrical Infrastructure Replacement at the 2700 W. Commodore Way, Seattle WA 98199. oDemolition of the existing Maritime Industrial Center (MIC) Service Entrance Electrical Distribution, Mooring Pier Distribution, WharfDistribution, Southeast Yard Distribution, and East Yard Distribution. oInstallation of Owner furnished enclosed. low-voltage switchgears for MIC Service Entrance, Mooring Pier, and. Wharf Distribution. oInstallation of electrical vaults and duct bank system. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a. requirement of the construction contract. Workforce diversity goals for this apprentice participation are identified in the Section 01 32 45 Apprenticeship Program. Bidders may contact the Department ofLabor & Industries, Apprenticeship Section, to obtain information on available apprenticeship programs. The estimated design-build contract value is Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars (84,600,000.00) excluding sales tax.
