Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shasta Lake, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of November 7 , 2024 , This project has been awarded to Spohn Ranch, Inc. for $1,409,271.31.** Work tasks on this project is the construction of a new Skatepark at a vacant area in the northwest corner of the City of Shasta Lake Civic Center campus at 4477 Main Street in Shasta Lake. Work includes grading, drainage, landscape and a new Skatepark complete in place per the plans, specifications, City of Shasta Lake Construction Standards and these Contract Documents. All other items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Plans or the Contract Documents shall be furnished, fabricated, constructed, or installed. The Engineers Estimate for the base bid work is $1,400,000.00. The Bid shall be accompanied in the same envelope by a bid guarantee in the form of an original bid bond, cash, certified check, or cashiers check in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the Total Project Bid unless otherwise noted in the Notice To Contractors. Bid bonds shall be executed in favor of the City of Shasta Lake by a surety company authorized to do business in California, shall be signed by the Bidder and the Surety, and shall be dated. The Surety's signature on the Bid Bond shall be notarized, and the proof of notary and the power of attorney shall also be original and attached to the original Bid Bond at the time the bid is opened. Copies will not be accepted in satisfaction of these requirements. Certified checks or cashiers checks shall be made payable to the City of Shasta Lake. The Performance Bond, to guarantee the performance of all covenants and stipulations of the Contract, shall be on the form provided by the City and shall be in a sum not less than 100 percent of the original Contract Sum as set forth in the Contract. The Payment Bond, to guarantee the payment of wages and of bills contracted for materials, supplies, or equipment used in the performance of the Contract, shall be on the form provided by the City and shall be in a sum not less than 100 percent of the original Contract Sum as set forth in the Contract The Date of Completion for the purpose of determining when the Work is complete is the date certified by the Engineer when construction of the Work is 100 percent complete, including completion and acceptance of all punch list corrections. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any Proposal which is incomplete, illegible, or irregular may be rejected; any Proposal having erasures or corrections in the price sheet may be rejected; any Proposal in which the unit price either written or in figures is omitted or in which the unit price is obviously unbalanced may be rejected at the discretion of the City; and any Proposal accompanied by an insufficient or irregular bid security may be rejected. Questions: Contact Kathie Reid - kreid@cityofshastalake.org, (530) 275-7487 Question Deadline 10/18/2024 Should the Contractor discover any conflicts, omissions, or errors in the Contract Documents, or have any question concerning interpretation or clarification of the Contract Documents, or if it appears that the Work to be done or any matters relative thereto are not sufficiently detailed or explained in the Contract Documents, then before proceeding with the work affected, the Contractor shall within two (2) working days notify the Engineer in writing by submitting an RFI requesting interpretation, clarification, or additional detailed instructions and/or drawings concerning the work. All such questions shall be resolved and instructions to the Contractor issued by the Engineer.
