The University anticipates the project delivery method will be design/ bid /build. The selected firm shall work collaboratively with the University to maintain the project budget and scope, participate in value engineering as required, and make recommendations that benefit the project at every stage. A detailed scope of work will be negotiated with the selected firm and is expected to include the following: Coordination with Athletics and Capital Projects to assess and refine the program (scope, budget, and schedule) requirements. Review and evaluate existing campus information and documentation to accurately understand the impacts of existing conditions on the project scope and code requirements. Review, evaluate, understand, and identify accessibility impacts. Curation of the historical memorable and digital content for presentation and display in the new space. Incorporating necessary approvals into the construction design documents, including but not limited to the Campus Committee for the Removal of Architectural Barriers (CCRB), Campus Fire Marshall (CFM), and Campus Building Department (CBD). Development, coordination, and production of a comprehensive code-compliant construction design document package for permitting and bidding. Provision of cost estimates and updated cost estimates and collaboration with the University's consulting cost estimator who will act as a cost peer reviewer. Provision of construction administration services. Attend and participate in project-related meetings, both on Zoom and in person, for the duration of the project.
