Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Chico, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The Work, in general, consists of SCHEDULE I Rehabilitation of Runway 13R/31L at Chico Regional Airport. One runway and a portion of two taxiways will be rehabilitated. Cracking and pavement surface will be treated. The project includes pavement marking on the runway and portions of the taxiway. The Contract period to complete the Work shall be ten calendar (10) days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with the possibility of extension. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in favor of the CITY OF CHICO in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the calculated annual bid price, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract. City of Chico reserves the right to retain the checks or bonds of the two lowest bidders until an approved contract has been signed. All other bidders' checks will be returned by the City of Chico.
