Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a day care center in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,000-square-foot, one-story above grade day care center; and for site work for a day care center.

BCIT is seeking responses from qualified Construction Managers with demonstrated experience in design assist construction management and the delivery of modest-sized new build facilities on greenfield sites, for the delivery of a new Child Care facility at the southeast corner of the BCIT Burnaby Campus located at 3700 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5G 3H2. The BCIT Childcare Expansion project, a joint effort between BCIT and the BCIT Student Association, aims to develop a facility at the corner of Wayburne Drive and Deerlake Parkway on the BCIT Burnaby campus. This new 7,000 square foot facility will accommodate 62 children, including 50 spaces for ages 3-5 years and 12 toddler spaces, and integrated outdoor play areas. Based on the evaluation of responses, BCIT will select up to five (5) highest overall scoring Respondents for inclusion on a Prequalified Supplier list and will be invited to participate in a negotiated request for proposal ("NRFP") for the potential provision of the Deliverables to BCIT.
