Description The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is seeking expressions of interest from consulting firms who wish to provide professional engineering and construction services for Route 58 Vesta (UPC 17537) from approximately 0.1 miles West of Route 795 to approximately 0.5 miles east of Route 610 (Cloudbreak Road) in Patrick County. The scope of work will include, but not be limited to, providing professional engineering and construction services for Route 58 vesta between 0.1 miles west of Route 795 to approximately 0.5 miles east of Route 610 (Cloudbreak Road) in Patrick County. The improvements included in this scope of work will consist of widening existing Route 58 from a two lane non-divided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway; a portion of the fourlane roadway will have a new alignment. The scope of work will also include replacing one existing bridge structure with two new bridge structures, providing wider shoulders, which will improve sight distance, as well as upgrading signs, guardrail, and other necessities as agreed upon.
