Renovation of a municipal facility in Waycross, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project consists of the installation of new membrane roofing systems over existing roofs. 1. Building 100: Install self-adhering TPO roof system + ¼¿ gypsum cover board + 2¿ thick rigid iso insulation board + ¾¿ PT CDX ply-wood roof decking installed over existing EPDM rubber roof system adhered to gypsum cover board over OSB roof decking. Remove ex-isting exterior parapet walls and metal roof panel mansard fascia. Remove existing roof drains. Install new wood framing to raise exist-ing parapet walls on top of marriage truss parapets. 2. Bldgs 200, 300: Install TPO metal retrofit roof system RhinoBond attachment method over existing Type R metal roof panels (exposed fasteners). Install TPO membrane over ¼¿ gypsum cover board over 1 ½¿ rigid iso insulation board + EPS rigid flute fill insulation board. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5] percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [60] days after opening of bids. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed (est. September 1, 2024) and shall complete the Work prior to January 1, 2025. Bidder shall submit with the bid form an estimated material procurement timeline along with an estimated construction timeline. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
