Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Southport, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project will consist of mainline roadway asphalt milling and resurfacing with HMA Surface on Main Street from Southport Road to Derbyshire Street and West Street from South Street to Van Dyke Street. The project will also consist of full depth patching of concrete pavement and replacing with eight-inch PCCP on West Street from Southport Road to Van Dyke Street. The project also includes full depth HMA patching, concrete curb replacement, curb ramp replacement, and sidewalk replacement in some areas. A bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond will also be required of the successful bidder. The City of Southport reserves the right to reject and/or cancel any and all bids If a Bidder finds conflicts, errors, discrepancies or ambiguities in the Contract Documents or any sample form, or if the Bidder is in doubt as to the intended meaning of any portion or provision therein, the Bidder shall at once give written notice thereof to the OWNER's Representative, at least seven (7) consecutive calendar days prior to the Bid Date. No Biddershall be allowed any extra compensation or time extension by reason of any conflict, error, discrepancy or ambiguity of which the Bidder had actual knowledge or reasonably should have known and which he/she failed to report within the period and in the manner required by these Instructions ToBidders.
