Combs Street; Corey Court; Corey Drive; Earl Court; Holleybrook Lane; Market Street; Marywood Court; Shakespear Drive; Simone Drive The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Asphalt milling and overlay of Combs Street from Southport Road to 150 feet north of Southport Road, Corey Court from Corey Drive to End, Corey Drive from Crossgate Lane to Corey Court, Corey Drive from Corey Court to Partridge Court, Earl Court from Tammy Drive to End, Hollybrook Lane from Southfield Drive to Lotus Lane, Market Street from South Street to Jefferson Street, Marywood Court from Marywood Drive to End, Shakespeare Drive from Southfield Drive to Partridge Road, and Simone Drive from Earl Drive to Babette Drive. The project will also include areas of full depth HMA and/or PCCP patching within these street segments, as necessary. The project also includes concrete curb replacement, curb ramp replacement, and sidewalk replacement in some areas. Fianl Completion Duration - 45 days from Construction Start This Project will be funded by the City of Southport. A bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond will also be required of the successful bidder. It is intended that actual construction of all work divisions shall be started as soon as practicable, and each bidder shall be prepared to enter promptly into a construction contract, furnish a performance bond, and begin work without delay in the event the award is made to him. No bidder may withdraw any bid or proposal within a period of thirty (30) days following the date set for receiving bids or proposals. The Southport Board of Public Works reserves the right to hold any or all bids or proposals for a period of not more than thirty (30) days and said bids or proposal shall remain in full force and effect during said period.
