Questions may be directed to Jim Clarke, RA, at jclarke@sixmoarchitecture.com Bid Date Notes: Bids will be received and immediately after the deadline the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the Avon Lake Public Library, Lakeshore Room, 32649 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, Ohio 44012. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility The Project is the Canopy Pillar Repair Project ("the Project"). The Project and Work for the Project consists of the repair and replacement of the masonry piers at the Library's north and south building entrances (to be phased so that at least one such entrance is open and accessible to staff and patrons at all times) located at 32649 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, Ohio 44012, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. -The Scope of Work proposed as a part of this submittal includes exterior repairs to canopy columns at both entries to the library. The total estimated construction cost for the base bid is $72,500.00
