the project consists of placing traffic paint and pavement markings within the corporation limits of the City of Avon Lake. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting held for this project. The City of Avon Lake is a governmental agency, exempt from any Local, State and Federal sales taxes. All questions by prospective bidders concerning this project shall be directed, in writing, to the Avon Lake City Engineer, Chris Howard, P.E. by fax to (440) 934-7879 or by e-mail to choward@bramhall-engineering.com. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said Surety. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. Bidders must purchase plan and bid documents from the owner to be considered an eligible bidder.
