Site work and paving for a civil project in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work will consist of the installation of five (5) sanitary sewer manholes along an existing sewer line located in Crawford Avenue, complete with asphalt restoration. Each proposal shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of Connellsville Municipal Authority in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap; The Connellsville Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the biddings. Bids may be held by the Connellsville Municipal Authority for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons who are registered as having obtained Contract Documents. The Bidder shall understand that the time limit indicated for completion of this Contract shall be 60 (Sixty) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, and the amount of liquidated damages to be charged against the Contractor shall be $200.00 per day.
