The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit proposals to establish a contract with a mechanical/plumbing company for an hourly labor rate for various activities. To include minor plumbing maintenance to buildings or equipment, HVAC systems maintenance, trouble-shooting problems, construction renovation projects, boiler maintenance, steam trap surveys, and miscellaneous plumbing services as needed on the campus of South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SDM). A valid copy of the contractor's license and liability insurance certificate is required. South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SDM) is the issuing office for this document and all subsequent addenda relating to it, on behalf of the State of South Dakota, SDM. The reference number for the transaction is RFP # 24RFP10983. This number must be referred to on all proposals, correspondence, and documentation relating to the RFP Anticipated Award Decision/Contract Negotiation July 26, 2024 Question Deadline 07/01/2024 at 3:00 PM CT Responses to Offeror Questions July 8, 2024 No proposal shall be accepted from, or no contract or purchase order shall be awarded to any person, firm or corporation that is in arrears upon any obligations to the State of South Dakota, or that otherwise may be deemed irresponsible or unreliable by the State of South Dakota.
