This bid requests proposals from qualified vendors to provide equipment and services to replace the existing parking Meter/Kiosks with a new state of the art single head and/or kiosk parking Meter/Kiosk payment system hardware. The City of New Britain desires to install dual/multi-space space parking Meter/Kiosks that accept coin and credit cards. This Bid's scope of work covers up to 100 spaces, depending on vendor recommendation and actual equipment needed with spare equipment. We also look to enter into contracts for a parking management software, pay-by-cell parking, and credit card processing services for such parking transactions. Note that bidders are also required to provide in their response to this Bid a cost schedule for all costs related to their bid and include costs if the City of New Britain chooses to expand either incrementally or on a City-wide basis over the next few years. Question Deadline 07/22/2024 All questions and requests for Interpretation (RFI's) regarding this bid must be made in writing and emailed to Jarrod Cox, Facilities and Energy Manager, City of New Britain, at Jarrod.cox@newbritianct.gov. All RFI's will be answered via Addenda posted to the City of New Britain website no later than end of day July 26, 2024. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other Bid Documents will be made to any bidder orally. The City reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids or any part of a bid presented.
