Qualified vendor to provide sidewalk demolition and concrete sidewalk replacement at various school campuses The Consolidated School District of New Britain, will be accepting sealed RFQ documents for the following. Scope of Work: The New Britain School District seeks to demolish exisiting deteriorated or cracked concrete sidewalks and replace with concrete sidewalks at various school campuses. Demolition and removal of debris should be included in price. Alternative 1 is included in this bid package and is for demolition of and replacement of sidewalk sections. Alternate 1 pricing should assume a minimum of 4' x 8' section or 32 square feet of concrete sidewalk with control joints according to included specifications and detail drawings. Demolition and removal of all debris should be included in pricing. Alternative 2 is included in this bid and is for detectable warning sections if needed at sidewalk ramp sections. Contractor shall provide turnkey services necessary to complete demolishin and installation of new concrete sidewalks. All work and services provided by the vendor/firm will be performed in a professional manner, using quality equipment and material for any and all services provided as part of the agreement with the CSDNB and according to included specifications.
