Redmond Library HVAC Replacement PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of replacement of equipment, piping, ducting and accessories of the HVAC system. The site is located at the Redmond Library In order to be considered responsive upon submitting, Questions Submission Deadline July 17, 2024, 2:00pm Work to start September 2, 2024 Work to be completed by December 31, 2024 Any proposals received after the time and date specified will not be considered. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. No bids will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or by a bid bond issued by a State of Washington licensed surety company in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, made payable to "King County Library System". If certified check, money order, or cashier's check are being used in lieu of a Bid Bond, it must be received by King County Library System prior to the deadline for bid submittal. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the time set for opening unless and until award of the contract has been delayed for a period of sixty (60) days. King County Library System reserves the right to reject all bids for any or no reason, to waive informalities and irregularities, to reject any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time not greater than sixty (60) days from the bid opening date.
