The Project consists of but not limited to the following (a) Installation of New Fire Alarm System at Thousand Oaks Elementary School A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Berkeley Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors license(s) C-16 and/or C-10 The Bidders license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. Disconnect and remove existing fire alarm system. 2. Provide complete new fire alarm system per District standards as detailed on drawings and specified under Division 28. 3. Grounding and bonding per NEC. 4. Provide new raceways as detailed in drawings. 5. Coordinate with district monitoring company for final testing of system.
