The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing materials for the: Jones Homestead Booster Station Ground Storage Tank This project includes the purchase of one (1) 400,000-gallon ground storage tank for a new booster station in Gulf County, FL. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Smallwood, P.E. at csmallwood@gulfcounty-fl.gov. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Gulf County. This contract will be paid for in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery funding (CDBG-DR) from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") and the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity ("DEO") for activities authorized under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and as described in the 2020 State of Florida Action Plan for Disaster Recovery. As such this contract is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Subrecipient Agreement M0020 between DEO and the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, 45 CFR Part 75, 29 CFR Part 95, 2 CFR Part 200 (including Appendix II to Part 200), 20 CFR Part 601, 24 CFR Part 570 subpart I, et seq., and all other State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, and policies governing the funds provided through the Subrecipient Agreement, as now in effect and as may be amended from time to time. The Sub recipient Agreement allocates total funding of $7,062,869.00 (100%) for this project, which includes $7,012,869.00 (99.29%) in CDBG-DR funds and $50,000.00 (0.71%) in non-federal Funding. Minority and women's business enterprises are hereby solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs.
