Water System Improvements -Division VI, Well Modifications The Project includes the following Work: removal of pumps and motors at both wells and replacement with new pumps, motors, and controls and all other necessary appurtenances for complete installation All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening - with the exception of the submittal of the Notice of Intent for coverage under the NPDES General Permit to discharge stormwater Associated with Construction Activity. The Contractor shall be responsible for the submittal of the Notice of Intent and payment of all land disturbance fees. Acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. is expected to be required for the construction of this project. The City expects acquisition to be finalized prior to the bid date or prior to execution of contract documents The City of Rochelle reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Rochelle. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project.
