Site work and renovation of a residential development in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Building Cast-Iron Waste Line Replacement. Question Deadline 07/02/2024 at 1:00 PM ET The scope of the work is as follows: 1.1.1 PHASE I: CAST-IRON WASTE PIPE REPLACEMENT 1. Disconnect, remove, and dispose of the existing cast-iron soil pipes and fittings. 2. Furnish and install all new properly sized hub-less cast-iron soil pipe, fittings, clamps, hangers, and devices to replace all removed pipe/fittings/clamps. Scope to include confirming/reset pipes to pitch per code. The Contract Completion Date shall be: Friday August 16th, 2024. All work, including but not limited to: submittals and shop drawings (allow time for processing, approval and resubmission, as necessary), materials ordering/acquisition, mobilization, inspections, and all work through substantial completion shall be completed by the Contract Completion Date. The contract time may be reviewed and extended at the sole discretion of the authorized representative and issued in writing due to unforeseen circumstances, and changes to the work. CHRO - Projects/Bids valued at $50,000 or greater shall be subject to a 2% retainage on all progress and final payments until satisfactory response is provided from the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) that the contractor has fulfilled their obligations to the commission. (Ref. CGS Sections 4a-60, 4a-60a, 46a-71(d), and 46a-81i(d). Questions regarding CHRO process and procedures can be sent directly to CHRO. Projects/Quotes valued at $100,000 or greater shall be subject to an additional 5% retainage on all progress payments until project closeout requirements are met. Retainage will be released as the final payment. Contractor/Vendor may request a reduction in retainage at 50% project completion by submitting a request, in writing, to the authorized representative. Approval of such reduction shall be at the sole discretion of the authorized representative.
