Project includes construction of a facility to house Well # 8 & its appurtenances; construction of a 100,000-gallon belowgrade reservoir; & other related site work & utilities. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The City of Oconomowoc reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any technicality & accept any Bid it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive & responsible Bidder. Any Contract(s) to be awarded are expected to be funded with assistance from the Wis Dept of Natural Resources Safe Drinking Water Loan Program & is subject to all applicable State & Federal laws & regulations. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) including Women's & Minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit Bids for this Project. Bidders must demonstrate positive efforts to utilize DBEs. Failure to comply could result in disqualification of Bidder & termination of financial assistance or other sanctions. Successful Bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon & Related Acts. All iron & steel products used on the project shall be produced in the United States & comply with the American Iron & Steel requirements. All iron, steel, manufactured products & construction materials shall also be produced in the United States & comply with the Build America, Buy America Act requirements.
