Soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide street sweeping/cleaning services on Interstate and Limited Access Primary roadways for the Richmond District on an as needed basis. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide street sweeping/cleaning services on Interstate and Limited Access Primary roadways for the Richmond District on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, operators, supervision, labor, fuel, traffic control, support vehicles and any other incidentals necessary to provide roadway sweeping and cleaning services on Interstate and Limited Access Primary roadways throughout Richmond District Interstate Maintenance North area. Period of Contract: From Date of award through one year. (renewable) Work Location: Interstate and Limited Access Primary roadways for the Richmond District Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Tracey Higgins at tracey.higgins@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM EST on June 28, 2024. Pre- Bid While attendance at this conference will not be a prerequisite to submitting a bid, bidders who intend to submit a bid are encouraged to attend.
