The City of Richmond has over 100,000 trees (streets, city-owned property and parks) under its current maintenance program. The removal of dead and dying trees contributes to the health of our urban forest. Work shall consist of tree removal and stump grinding within the City of Richmond. All services provided under this contract shall be performed by competent, experienced workers in a professional manner taking any and all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the City of Richmond community. Each worker shall be outfitted with the appropriate tools and equipment to complete the job properly and safely while meeting all applicable ANSI Standards as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The City of Richmond shall have the right at any time to refuse or determine unacceptable work by the Contractor. The work shall be corrected within five (5) calendar days to the satisfaction of the City Representative. This Contract shall commence on the Commencement Date set forth in the Goods and Services Contract and shall expire five (5) years later, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Contract.
