Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of an educational facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the construction of a educational facility.
The project scope is generally comprised of demolition of the existing Bensley Elementary School and site features, along with construction of a new two (2) story elementary school building totaling approximately 112,000 square feet. Work includes but is not limited to site development, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and finishes. The construction consists of a combination of a steel framed structure and load-bearing exterior masonry, with exterior metal wall panels and brick veneer, and single ply membrane roof system. The Contractor shall meet the following completion dates: 1. Substantial Completion: May 1, 2026. 2.
