Water Treatment Plant Improvements 2025 1. The Scope of the Work includes assisting with various Planning, Design and Construction Oversight activities related to various improvements and repairs to (4) Water filtration facilities. These improvements and repairs include but are not limited to: Filter media replacement, Filter concrete remediation, Pipe gallery improvements including valve and actuator replacements, pipe repairs, pump replacement, painting, and pipe penetration repairs, Dehumidification and other mechanical system improvements, Building interior and exterior renovations, Roof repairs, Pump replacements, motor control center upgrades, electrical system upgrades, and controls improvements. 2. The consultant firm's role will be to provide strategic recommendations, guidance, planning, design, and execution of the project delivery. Required services: Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing), Planning, and potentially Land Surveying. Design will be completed and then the consultant will work with the City of Bartlett to develop appropriate bid packages. The City of Bartlett Selection Committee will utilize the following criteria for the selection of the firm. 1. Specified experience or technical expertise of the firm in connection with the type of services to be provided. 2. Past record of performance on contracts with the community and other public sector clients in Tennessee including quality of work, timeliness and cost control. 3. Capacity of firm to perform the work within time limitations, taking into consideration the current and planned workload of the firm.
