A subsurface exploration program consisting of soil borings, test pits, geotechnical laboratory testing, and monitoring well installation has been performed, with reasonable care. The following geotechnical report is appended hereto and is for informational purposes as described below: "Geotechnical Engineering Report, Improvements to Page Park, Bristol, Connecticut" dated September 2023. The City of Bristol is accepting bids for improvements at Page Park, Bristol, Connecticut. A Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut, is required. Bid Security will be returned to all except the successful bidder upon award, and to the successful bidder upon issuance of a Purchase Order. NO BID WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUIRED BID BOND. The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. The requirements for prevailing wage rates are to apply to the resultant contract award. Bids received after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. WITHDRAWAL OF BID SUBMITTED Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the designated closing time for receiving bids. Bids may be withdrawn 90 days after the bid opening, if no award has been made. If the City does not award a contract within ninety (90) days after the opening of bids, all bid proposals will be null and void except on mutual agreement of the City and the lowest qualified bidder, this time may be extended. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. Bids must be firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days following the bid opening.
