The County of Rock Island is requesting bids for office furniture. The project also consists of placement of new furniture and removal of old for the following offices: Treasurer Auditor Clerk County Board and HR Public Defender Supervisor of Assessment Zoning & Building County Board Room Bi-State Information Systems Juvenile Probation Services Coroner Highway Department Adult Services Sheriff's Office & Jail Installation is tentatively scheduled for October 2024 with substantial completion by December 31, 2024. Exact project dates will be coordinated with successful vendor. Rock Island will be evaluating bids and will make a final decision based on the basis of design and qualified bids. Funds for this project were provided to the County from U.S. Department of the Treasury Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds and may qualify Rock Island County to utilize a federal GSA pricing structure. It is the responsibility of the vendor to determinne if federal GSA pricing is available to the County. This pricing structure must be noted on vendor's bid response. The County reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest and/or best proposer atier proposal opening and establishment of the low cost/responsible bidder, before the contract is awarded and/or atier contract award. The County reserves the right to negotiate the exact terms and conditions of the contract with the selected proposer. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses to this RFP.
