It is the Intent of These Specifications to Solicit Bids for the Removal of Waste Oil, Waste Anti-freeze and Used Oil Filters (Collectively Waste Materials) From the Town of Islip Facilities Listed Below (Other Sites Maybe Added During the Terms of the Contract Upon Notice to the Successful Contractor). The Contractor May Be Called Upon to Remove Contaminated Waste Oil and/or Contaminated Anti-freeze. The Contractor Shall Provide Collection Vehicles and Equipment to Remove and Transport the Waste Materials to Permitted Processing or Disposal Facilities. Town Wrap Recycling Facility, 1155 Lincoln Ave., Holbrook Anti-freeze - Two (2) 55 Gallon Drums; Waste Oil - One (1) 1,000 Gallon Tank and One (1) 75 Gallon Tank; Filters - Two (2) 55 Gallon Drums Town Blydenburgh Landfill, 400 Blydenburgh Rd., Hauppauge Anti-freeze One (1) 55 Gallon Drum; Waste Oil - One (1) 500 Gallon Tank Town Compost Site Waste Oil-one (1) 75 Gallon Tank Term of Contract: the Contract Price Shall Be for One (1) Year From Date of Award With the Town's Option to Renew for Two (2) Additional One (1) Year Periods, Under the Same Terms and Conditions. Quantity: The Town Herewith Provides Approximate Volumes of Waste Materials Removed From the Town Locations During 2020. This Contract is for the Amount of Gallons/drums Actually Removed During the Contract Period. The Islip Town Board Reserves the Right to Waive Any Formality and/or Informality or to Reject Any or All Bids Received or to Award a Contract to One or More Bidders for an Item, Group(S) of Items or All Items of the Bid, When in the Opinion of the Town Board, Such an Action Will Be in the Best Interest of the Town. In the Event Bids Are Rejected or No Bids Are Received, the Purchasing Department is Authorized to Re-advertise for Bids.
