Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bend, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will design and construct intersection improvements at 4th and 8th St along Olney Avenue. Early traffic and site analysis suggest a signalized intersection at 4th Street and a roundabout at 8th Street. This project will be closely coordinated with improvements on Revere Avenue at the same intersecting streets as well as close coordination with Oregon Department of Transportation, due to signals on 3rd Street. The project is included in the City's 2023-2025 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) as well as the upcoming proposed 2025-2027 CIP. As of September 2, 2025, design is expected in 4th Quarter of 2025 with construction in 2nd Quarter of 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
