Completion Date: Oct. 31, 2026 Removal and replacement of existing bituminous concrete pavement on the Grand Crossing Trail, crossing the La Crosse River Marsh between Myrick Park Drive and St. James Street. This will include placement of approximately 5,400 square yards of asphalt and 1,600 cubic yards of aggregate base course. Construction of a 159-foot-long concrete spillway section intended to reduce trail washout during flood events. Placement of approximately 280 cubic yards of Heavy Riprap to protect the spillway embankments. Installation and maintenance of erosion control and other protective measures to minimize adverse impacts to the adjacent marsh.
