In general, the Project consists of Installation of a Smoke Alarm in every bedroom in the La Crosse Housing Authorities following locations. Becker Plaza - 415 South 7th Street (75 - 1 BR units) Sauber Manor - 1025 Liberty Street (82 - 1 BR units) Stoffel Court - 333 South 7th Street (74 - 1 BR units) Forest Park - 1230 Badger Street (112 - 1 BR units) Ping Manor - 1311 Badger Street (60 - 1 BR units) Grover Estates - Taylor Street & Hamilton Street (30 - 2 BR units) Huber Homes - Gladys St & Huber Court (6 - 1 BR units; 12 - 2 BR units; 12 - 3 BR units; 10 - 4 BR units) Mullen Homes - St James St & 800 Block of Winneshiek Rd (30 - 2 BR units; 18 - 3 BR units; 6 - 4 BR units; 2 - 5 BR units) Schuh Homes - S Winneshiek Rd, Redbird Ct & Wood St (19 - 1 BR units; 30 - 2 BR units; 22 - 3 BR units; 6 - 4 BR units; 2 - 5 BR units) Lump-sum Bids will be received on a Single Prime Construction Contract for the Entire Work. Hardcopy Bidding Documents may be picked up at HSR Associates' office. Bidders may request shipment of hardcopies by sending a check made out to HSR Associates in the amount of $15.00. The shipping fee will not be refunded and must be received prior to shipment. HSR Associates is responsible for distribution of addenda only to those who have requested project documents from HSR in formats described above. HSR Associates will make AutoCAD files available to the Contractor following award of contract. HSR Associates maintains a plan holder list at online. This list includes only those who have requested plans from HSR and those who have requested to be added to our list. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as described in the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. Bids may only be withdrawn in accordance with the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidders. Date of Commencement of the Work: September 11, 2024. Date of Start of On-site Work: September 30, 2024. Date of Substantial Completion: December 20, 2024.
