Remodeling of a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 96,000-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.

Project scope includes but is not limited to remodel and renovations to the Community Based Residential Facility, Housing, Dementia Stabilization Unit, and Administration Facility as well as the Skilled Nursing Facility, State and Day Center. The project will be completed in phases in multiple areas of the building. Location- 3501 Park Lane Drive, La Crosse, Wisconsin, 54601 Project Description: 1. Size: 96,000 sf remodel of existing building 2. Addition, Remodel, or New Construction: Remodel 3. Types of Construction: All Trades 4. The project consists of renovating and remodeling their existing facility. The main focus is on the CBRF, DSU, Housing, Day Center, and SNF Kitchen/Administration. 5. HVAC will be issued the week of July 8th, 2024 Sections bidding but not limited to: site demolition, interior demolition, excavation, tactile warning surfacing, rubber playground surfacing, fencing, landscaping, site utilities, site concrete, concrete, masonry, metal fabrications, rough and finish carpentry, cabinets and countertops, fiberglass reinforced panels, insulation, weather barriers, sheet metal flashing, roof accessories, firestopping, joint sealants, doors, frames, hardware, smoke curtain, alum framed storefronts, composite windows, power door operators, glazing, fire rated glazing, gypsum board, tiling, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, tile carpet, painting and wall coverings, staining, signage, traffic signage, cubicle curtains, wall protection, toilet accessories, mfg fireplace(s), fire protection, food service equipment, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security. Windows in undefined spaces C. Soffit, Fascia and Gutters D. Remove, finish and re-install existing wood doors to remain E. Fire Alarm System 1. All work related to the demolition, phasing, and replacement of the existing Fire Alarm System within the existing Hillview facility shall be the responsibility of the Owner. EC shall provide all required rough-in (pathways, conduit and backbox) required for a complete and operational system. All 120V electrical connections for the installation and replacement of the existing Fire Alarm System shall be supervised by a licensed electrician. The Owner is also responsible for all terminations, testing and warranty requirements. F. Cable coax TV, Card Readers and cabling, Intercom and cabling, Surveillance Cameras and cabling, Wireless Access Points and cabling, Paging Speakers and cabling G. Wander Management 1. EC provides rough-in, requirements provided by Hillview H. Nurse Call 1. Power required for new system shall be by EC. Locations provided by Hillview. I. Electric Strikes and Mag Locks (Demo by EC) J. Asbestos Abatement As of October 16, 2024, all subcontract trades have been let and set. Groundbreaking occured early October and construction is underway.
