Remodeling of a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 96,000-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.
Project scope includes but is not limited to a selective remodel of the Hillview Healthcare Center operated by La Crosse County. The project includes remodel/renovations of CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility), Housing, DSU (Dementia Stabilization Unit), and Administration. There will also be work in the SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility), State and Day Center. The project will be in phases and each phase will include multiple areas of the building. Bid Package #2 consists of the following sections bidding: Steel Fabrication (provide), Roofing and Sheet Metal, Insulation, Firestopping, Specialties (provide), Poured in Place Surfacing (playground), and Landscaping. As of October 16, 2024, all subcontract trades have been let and set. Groundbreaking occured early October and construction is underway. *Estimated project value is for overall project including but not limited to bid package 2.
