Additionally, the project seeks to construct a new beach for launching recreational canoes. The following is a list summarizing the characteristics of each project element: The proposed renovation will remove 6 docks, add two extension docks at the Outer Dock, and remove the boat ramp. Two of the removed docks will be replaced with a sand/gravel canoe launching beach. A bid alternate exists to replace and reorient 1 dock to provide ADA accessibility.
