Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking a consultant team to complete design, permitting, and community outreach for the Vine Street combined sewer overflow (CSO) flow redirect project in the City of Seattle's Belltown neighborhood. The consultant team will also provide engineering support services during the public works contract advertisement, public works contract award period, and during the construction and closeout phases of the planned project. Construction is anticipated to start in 2027. This contract is expected to support the project through design, construction, and closeout phases including the first year of landscape establishment. The final completion date of all phases of work conducted under this contract is estimated to be the end of 2032. SPU plans to execute a single 8-year phased consulting services contract, with an option to extend additional years. The estimated value of the contract is $4-$5M.
