Site work for a water / sewer project in Pikeville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid is described as follows: CONTRACT 295-23-02 Installation of approximately 2,307 linear feet of 3-inch polyethylene DR9 pipe by open cut method, installation of 3-inch polyethylene DR9 pipe by directional drill, approximately 240 linear feet of 3-inch SDR 17 PVC pipe, 7 residential meters, 2 flushing hydrants, 1 air release, and appurtenances. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to Mountain Water District in an amount not less than the percent of the base bid indicated in Specification Section C-200, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Security. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 90 days after the date bids are opened. He may, however, withdraw his bid at any time prior to the time and date scheduled for opening of same or any authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Mountain Water District may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the Specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids.
