** As of August 2,2024 The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies.** Beginning on July 2, 2024, the Northbrook Public Library[the "Owner"] is accepting bids for the following project: Meeting Room Audio Visual Upgrades PROJECT Direct any questions to Kelly Durov, Assistant Director of the Northbrook Public Library, kdurov@northbrook.info. The Project will include designing and installing audiovisual equipment to an existing meeting room to enhancevirtual and hybrid meetings and events. Bids must bear the Bidder's name and address, and beclearly marked: "LIBRARY MEETING ROOM AUDIO VISUALUPGRADES PROJECT" DUE July 17, 2024 10:00 A.M." Bids submitted by fax, electronic, or telephonic means willnot be considered. The Owner reserves the right to rejectany or all bids and to waive any irregularities. Bidders will be required to comply with all laws, includingthose relating to the employment of labor, and payment ofthe general prevailing rate of hourly wages in the localityin which the work is to be performed for each craft of typeof worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract orperform such work, including the general prevailing ratefor legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by theOwner or by the Illinois Department of Labor for CookCounty, Illinois, shall be paid for each craft or type ofworker needed to execute the contract or to perform suchwork.
