Renovation of a mixed-use development in South Jordan, Utah. Working plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
SCOPE OF WORK/BACKGROUND South Jordan Recreation Center is a 66,200 SF facility constructed in 2002 and became part of Salt Lake Countys Parks & Recreation system in 2020. It has been determined that a lap lane pool is needed to meet the demands of the local high school and community. The scope of work for this project includes construction of an addition for a new lap lane pool, restrooms, and space for utilities and equipment. This addition will be built off the southwest corner of the existing building within the existing lawn space adjacent to the existing pool structure. The General Contractor is to be licensed B100 General Building Contractor. All questions regarding the RFQ shall be submitted through U3P no later than July 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM. It is anticipated that the bid documents will be distributed for Stage II bids August 1, 2024, and a Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the project is expected in September 2024; Final Acceptance will need to be completed 14 months from NTP.
