Saving Project...

Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Burnsville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the construction of a 2,700-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; and municipal facility.

As of September 3, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 9th on Baord meeting. Yancey County Recreation Ray Cort Park - The project generally consists of the construction of a new freestanding one story facility of approximately 2,700 SF to accommodate the county's Parks & Recreation. Demolition of an existing building currently occupying the new building location is included in this project. An asbestos and lead paint hazardous materials survey is including with the bid documents. Prime Contractors must be prequalified through NCDOT prior to submitting a bid proposal. The Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bid proposals. NOTE: In an effort to save on printing cost and encouraging paperless projects, drawings and specifications in PDF format are available for a purchase price of $100; which can also be purchased/obtained from Henco Reprographics' FTP website (www.hencoplanroom.com).
