The visitor section bleachers at Walker Valley High School's football stadium currently seat around 1,000 people (ref Exhibit 1). In support of the expansion of the same to approximately 1,800 seats (net addition of 800), the vendor is required to provide all materials, shipping, and labor for the completion of the following scope: o Existing bleachers are I beam type on pier footings, 22 rows, with capacity of approximately 1,000 seats, stairs both sides, ADA ramp north side only. o Bleacher addition shall be approximately 800 additional seats total. o Bleacher addition shall be symmetrical on both sides of existing except that only the north end shall receive an ADA ramp. o Bleachers shall meet all applicable building Codes as well as ADA accessibility requirements. o Bleacher addition shall match existing with respect to number of rows, height, and elevation of walkways, treads, and seats such that the intermediate railings (between existing and future) can be removed. o "Turnkey" project to include design (by a duly TN licensed design professional), permitting, fabrication, delivery, and erection of same shall be completed. o Any and all site preparation including removal of landscaping, grading, excavation and construction of footings, etc. is specifically included. o Please specify whether you are proposing I Beam bleachers on pier footings or Angle Frame bleachers on slab on grade with a written narrative as to why you recommend that particular type. You may submit both for consideration (include second as "Bid Alt" on Attachment B). o Irrigation, electrical, data, and/or lighting relocations / modifications are NOT included.
